The American Horsewoman’s Challenge

It’s about time America’s woman horse trainers get the recognition they deserve!

The American Horsewoman’s Challenge shines the spotlight on the incredibly diverse talents of North America’s woman trainers and rewards them for creating a well-balanced horse in the areas of Liberty, Cowboy Dressage and Ranch/Trail Versatility.

Every woman trainer in the United States and Canada has the opportunity to choose their favorite horse, build a bond, and show how far they can take that relationship in just eight months. It’s all about demonstrating their true skill and talent, not about creating just a “one-trick pony.”

It is already time for the women of the 2015 American Horsewoman's Challenge to prepare their entries.

Entry deadline is November 30.

Qualifiers will be announced January 1.

The entry package can be downloaded from the American Horsewoman’s Challenge website.

Awards for Cowboy Dressage Final

The Cowboy Dressage Circuit Finals hosted by

Cowboy Dressage World is

November 15th-16th 2014

at the Murieta Equestrian Center in Rancho Murieta, Ca.

This competition is created for those cowboys and cowgirls who longed for a place to hang your hat and live and ride the western traditions. It is Eitan's hope that each of the participants will embrace this new division. It offers a place for the “partnership” to be rewarded more than the “maneuver” and the well being of the horse and rider are held in the highest regard. If you ride the trials, the range, the rodeo or the dressage court you have a place to explore and grow with Cowboy Dressage.

This is an incredible saddle of the highest quality!.

It has a 16” seat.The swells, back jockeys and half-covered stirrups are stamped with a traditional geometric box stamp giving it a traditional “waffle” look. And the rest of the saddle is Rough Out with a “wavy river” border stamp around edges; it has a look similar to a rope design...... The Stirrups are 3” bell bottom with half-covered design and leather treads installed.....

Cross Trail All Leather Saddle

On June 20th-22nd 2014 at Butlerhill Equestrian Center in Burlington, Wa Best of America by Horseback held their 1st Annual Trail Horse Challenge.

This horse trail challenge was a test of the riders communication skills with their equine through a trail challenge competition.

Buckaroo Leather was proud to be able to provide/sponsor the 1st place winner a Cross Trail All Leather Saddle (pictured above). The Best of America by Horseback 1st annual Trail Horse Challenge winner was Lana Bland. Lana won the Cross Trail Leather Saddle for all her hard work. Congratulations to Lana!!
