Calling all for our fifth Gold Country Horse Day at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, Ca. We’re proud to have so much positive feed back from vendors and attendees at our last one, and look forward to bringing
you something new with each event.
We are excited to have presentations from local Animal Services, local Emergency Response Teams and mounted teams on preparedness for emergencies and disasters for your horse, livestock & other animals.
HALTER Project is dedicated to helping individuals and communities be prepared for any emergency or disaster and are providing us with a presentation on resources available to help plan for yourself, your family, your animals, and your neighbors.

UCD-CVET (California Veterinary Emergency Team)
Clinic topics and demonstrations will include:
Helping the "down" equine
Large Animal Rescue: What is it, Who does it, and How to Request help in an incident involving equines
Preparing your barn, ranch, animals (and you) for disasters.
Learn how to be the most safe and prepared rider in your barn and community!
We are excited for our returning clinics and also to host the ever popular mounted archery.
