I must say the quality of the leather is superb! However, Buckaroo Leather Company and John Brand, excel at a truly lost art…CUSTOMER SERVICE! I know great service because I work in a customer service related job. I ordered the Black Beauty Mecate, a set of
10’ split reins, and rolled Cowboy Dressage reins. Everything was better than expected, but the crown piece was too long for my horse although I measured him 3x and they sent what I asked for. The ear piece was also too big. I called John and they made another crown & ear piece. Crown piece too short though again what I asked for so maybe it was the different bit or the 3y/o Appy grew miraculously! Lol. Ear piece was spot on! Anyway, sheepishly called John again. “No problem let’s go with an
in between”, he said. 3rd time was the charm! Fits perfectly! He never once made me feel stupid nor came across as annoyed with me. The pieces were all sent promptly. Can’t say I’d ever be inclined to order from anyone else. This stuff was made to last. I’ll bet it will outlast my horse’s life span - hopefully another 30yrs! A nice keepsake for that sad day.
